In 2009, I was a chef. Before that, I was a manager and before that, I was a waitress. We worked hard and we played harder. But, I wanted to do more, and I wanted to help people; I kept my eyes open, asked questions, and did the work.
In 2011, a friend reached out. He had a popular restaurant, but it was running by the seat of its pants. I packed my bags, got on a plane, and spent a month working there and training the team. And I loved it. It was everything I wanted to do. Within a few months, they even had a second location! I’d found my calling.
I love seeing people fall in love with their businesses. Nothing excites me more than watching people succeed. It’s possible for everyone. That’s why I started The Kitchen Think.
